ABOUT US
We are a
group of volunteers who appreciate the architectural significance of
Gardner Dailey’s design of the Coral Casino and want to see it
preserved. We strongly believe that the second-story
restaurant will destroy many of the most significant architectural
elements of Gardner Dailey’s original design and compromise the
architectural integrity of the landmarked Coral Casino.
Therefore, this website has been constructed and posted on the
Internet to spread notice of the imminent threat and to seek
help.
HELP
We need your support of this
website and help to preserve the Coral Casino. We urge the
following:
1.
Send faxes
and letters or emails to the California Coastal Commission urging it
to find that there is a substantial issue, consider and grant the
appeals which would preserve many of the most significant
architectural elements of Gardner Dailey’s original design and not
compromise the architectural integrity of the landmarked Coral
Casino.
2. Please transmit copies to info@club93108.net
3. Circulate this website as well as http://www.gardnerdailey.org
to those people who might be interested.
4. Urge others to send letters and faxes to the California
Coastal Commission and it s members urging the Coastal Commission to
determine there is a substantial issue, consider the appeals and
eventually grant and approve the appeals which would preserve many
of the most significant architectural elements of Gardner Dailey’s
original design and not compromise the architectural integrity of
the landmarked Coral Casino.
4. Please submit suggestions to us for improvement of this
website.
